1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the CBG Staffing worker platform at cbgstaffing.online, operated by CBG Staffing, Inc.. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, and have completed our onboarding process. Your account is yours alone — do not share your sign-in, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
3. What the platform does
The platform is how you see available shifts, claim them, confirm attendance, clock in and out, view your hours, and exchange messages with our office. Claiming a shift is a request; a shift is yours once it is confirmed, and shifts can be changed or cancelled by the client site. Nothing on the platform guarantees a minimum number of shifts or hours.
Using the platform does not by itself create an employment relationship, and these terms do not change the terms of any employment agreement, offer letter, or assignment you have with us or with our employer-of-record partner.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information, and keep your contact details current.
- Clock in and out honestly, and only for shifts you personally work.
- Show up for shifts you have confirmed, or release them as early as you can so someone else can take them.
- Follow the safety rules and site policies of the client location you are working at.
- Do not attempt to access anyone else’s records, or interfere with the platform’s operation.
5. Text messages (SMS program)
If you opt in, CBG Staffing sends recurring text messages about your work: shift confirmation requests that require a reply, notice of open shifts at your assigned worksite, shift reminders and start-time changes, and payroll setup notices. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- Consent is optional. You are not required to agree to text messages as a condition of employment or of getting shifts.
- Message frequency varies with how often you work and how many shifts are open at your site.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop, reply STOP to any message. You will stop receiving texts. To start again, reply START.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@cbgstaffing.com or 786-505-2045.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported carriers include the major US carriers; delivery is not guaranteed on every network.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your employment or your ability to see and claim shifts in the app. We will continue to reach you by email and in-app notification.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, including the location check recorded when you clock in.
7. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that is used to falsify time records, access another person’s information, or interfere with the platform. Where the reason also concerns your employment or assignment, that is handled separately under the applicable employment terms.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If the platform is unavailable, contact the office directly — an outage does not excuse a missed shift, and it does not remove our obligation to pay you for hours you actually worked.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Florida law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud. Nothing here limits any right you have under wage-and-hour or employment law, including your right to be paid for hours you worked.
9. Changes and contact
