Who we are

Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information the platform records as you work:

  • Identity and contact — name, date of birth, home address, email address, mobile phone number.
  • Employment eligibility — Social Security number, government identification and work-authorization documents, collected because federal law requires them to employ you.
  • Background screening results — where a client assignment requires screening, and only with your written authorization.
  • Work records — shifts claimed and worked, clock-in and clock-out times, hours, pay rate and pay history.
  • Location at clock-in — when you clock in or out, we record whether you were within the worksite boundary. We use this to verify attendance for a specific shift. We do not track your location at any other time, and we do not track you between shifts.
  • Messages — messages you exchange with our office through the platform, and your replies to our text messages.
  • Account and device — sign-in times, and if you enable notifications, the identifiers needed to deliver them.

How we use it

  • To place you into assignments, and to schedule, confirm and staff shifts.
  • To pay you correctly and meet tax, payroll and employment-record obligations.
  • To verify eligibility to work, and to run background screening where an assignment requires it.
  • To send you the operational messages described below.
  • To keep the records the law requires us to keep, and to respond to legal process.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not provide it to advertisers or data brokers.

Text messages (SMS)

If you agree to receive text messages, we use your mobile number to send operational messages about your work: shift confirmation requests that need a reply, notice of open shifts at the worksite you are assigned to, shift reminders and start-time changes, and payroll setup notices. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our messages, and only to deliver them.

Message frequency varies with how much you work. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, which we honour immediately and record. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@cbgstaffing.com. Opting out of text messages does not affect your employment, your assignments, or your ability to claim shifts in the app.

Who we share information with

We share only what each party needs to do its job for us:

  • Our payroll and employer-of-record provider, to pay you and file employment taxes.
  • Background screening providers, where an assignment requires screening and you have authorized it.
  • Client staffing platforms and the client sites you work at, to place you on their orders and confirm attendance. They receive your name and assignment details, not your Social Security number.
  • Messaging and email providers, to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive.
  • Our hosting and database providers, who store the platform’s data on our behalf.
  • Government agencies, where the law requires it, and in response to valid legal process.

How we protect it

Access is restricted by role: workers can see their own records and cannot see anyone else’s, enforced by the database rather than only by the app. Social Security numbers are encrypted, and every access to a decrypted number is logged. We keep employment records for as long as employment and tax law requires, and then delete or de-identify them.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.

Your choices

  • Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
  • Turn off text messages (reply STOP), push notifications, or non-essential email at any time.
  • Ask us to delete information we are not required by law to keep.

Write to info@cbgstaffing.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law.

Children

The platform is for people old enough to work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you directly.
